EPICENTER CS:GO 2019 with $500,000 at Stake Is Approaching
EPICENTER 2019 is approaching. Next week eight top Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams will travel to Moscow, Russia where they will fight for their share of a whopping $500,000 prize pool.
Among eight participants, four teams received direct invites – AVANGAR, Evil Geniuses, Natus Vincere and Team Vitality, while the other four squads made it through the regional qualifiers – Heroic and mousesports from Europe, forZe from CIS, and EHOME from China.
These teams have been seeded into two groups as follows:

The group stage will be played on December 17-19 and follow a double-elimination format with best-of-three series. In the opening matches of Group A Team Vitality will face EHOME (10:00 AM UK Time), while Natus Vincere will compete with Heroic (1:00 PM). In Group B’s first matches forZe will try their chances against Evil Geniuses (10:00 AM), while AVANGAR will play with mousesports (1:00 PM).
The teams that will place first in their groups will advance directly to the semifinals, while the teams placed 2nd and 3rd will make it to the quarterfinals. The playoffs stage is scheduled for December 21st-22nd and will follow a single-elimination format with all matches being best-of-three.
