New CS:GO League Will be Launched in April

The new CS: GO League, named Parimatch League CS: GO, will about to launch in April. According to the StarLader and Parimatch commentaries, it will consist of 16 different teams.

Eight teams will be from the European Union countries, and eight from the countries of Asia and east Europe, like Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Russia, and a few other countries from the Commonwealth of Independent States.

More About the League

Some teams were already got their direct invitation. Among them, Virtus.pro, Team Spirit, and forZe. Four more teams will be invited according to the results of the open qualifications.

The group stage of the Parimatch League CS: GO will take place on 13 - 26 of April. The final set will take place on 1 - 3 of May. The overall prize pool is only $ 100 000. This prize will be shared between all competitors, according to their position in the tier list.

Official Commentary

Stepan Shulga, the Parimatch head of eSports, said in the last of his statement: "I am pretty sure that the fact that all the competition will take place behind the closed doors will not be distracting the online fans and spectators."

He also said that they would do their best to deliver the best possible quality of competition for the fans of any kind, even in today's coronavirus outbreak situation. "You all will be satisfied with our tournament," he said.
