Basketball superstar Shaquille O'Neal thought NBA need to "scrap the upcoming season," as the coronavirus now keeps spreading throughout the globe.

"Everybody should stay home, keep healthy, and come back next year," said the retired basketball player, who nowadays is a television pundit.

"Why should you do play-offs, and try to come back now as a player? Any team that will participate in the future competition is risking pretty hard," said O'Neal.

"What if any team that's not very famous will win this year's NBA competition? In regards to the new play-offs format, nobody won't like that at all," mentioned basketball superstar.

"That is the main reason why you should scrap this competition. Stay home. Take care of your health and your fans' health. Just come back next year," continued Shaquille O'Neal.
