The towel draped over the shoulders of the Kobe Bryant during his last speech as a professional basketball player in 2016, was sold via internet auction for more than $30 000 on Sunday.

The last words of the Kobe Bryant, after the final game with the Los Angeles Lakers, during he scored 60 points, was "Mamba out,'' and referred to his nickname "Black Mamba."

When the basketball player walked out, one of the fans grabbed this towel out of his shoulders. Then he sold it in 2016 at another auction for $8 365.

In the last month, the new owner of the towel contacted an Arizona-based Iconic Auction with a proposition to resell it.

According to the president of Iconic Auction, Jeff Wolf, the towel and the two tickets from "Black Mamba" farewell game were sold as the single lot for $33 071,16.
