Ronaldinho Is Under Investigation in Paraguay
Ronaldinho, the legendary Brazilian and Barcelona football player, was detained by the police of Paraguay for having multiple passports. According to more early reports, he was taken away two passports in January of last year due to unpaid taxes.
Police officers raided the footballer hotel room in Asuncion, where he lived with his brother on Wednesday. As reported, Ronaldinho used a fake passport to enter the country, as well as did his brother.

The main reason for the visit of Ronaldhino to Paraguay was a company dedicated to the promotion of his new book and the participation in the children’s charity campaign.
As the reports said, another man who traveled with Ronaldinho and his brother Wilmondes Sousa Lira, 45 years old, is also now at the police station with the footballer and his relative.
Interior minister of Paraguay Euclides Acevedo mentioned in his statement that he hugely respects Ronaldhino for its sportsmanship popularity and achievements, but even famous people must respect laws. “Ronaldinho will be heard at eight in the morning on Thursday at the prosecutor’s office,” he added.

Alongside Cafu, Ronaldo Nazario, and other football greats, Ronaldinho won the World Football Cup in the 2002 year. He also two times was a FIFA World Player of the Year in 2004 and 2005 years.
When he was a Barcelona player, he won the Ballon d’Or in the 2005 year once. He officially retreated from football at the age of 37 in 2018.
