New Info About NHL 2020 season
The last pause of NHL matches and statements, for now, is one of the longest in the history of modern hockey. It lasted for more than six weeks in a row now. No official statements or any other kind of activity. At all. Those were really strange days.
Fans begin slowly start searching Web for something less exciting, but more "live" to watch. Nobody talked and knew nothing about the NHL 2020 season...
But on Wednesday, Gary Bettman, the NHL commissioner, had a press conference. He said: "We are thinking to continue our seasonal games and now are looking for the best possible place where they can be held."
More About the Statement
"Well, considering too what our organization sees now, we need a bunch of ice and not more than four cities, where all the matches will take place," proclaimed Gary Bettman.
He also said: "The only valuable for us marker and parameter is that the spreading of COVID-19 there isn't too high. It also will allow participants to spend more time on practices because they won't travel too much. As a result, the fans will have more valuable and spectacular hockey."
"Also, we need to say from the very beginning, that we make a decision to play only it the big cities. We can't play on a small college rink or somewhere in a small community," added Gary Bettman. "We need to have an arena of the proper quality for this type of competition."
