One of the TOP British female tennis players will meet in London during the competition in the next month.
The progress of Tour Women's Championships will be similar to 'Battle of the Brits' of Jamie Murray.
One of the TOP three British female tennis players, Harriet Dart, decided to take part in this championship. Still, her main competitor, Johanna Konta, who now is 14th most strong among female in the world, disagree with taking part.
Naomi Broady, a former TOP 100 tennis player, also decided to play at the event. She will face 17teen years old Emma Raducanu, who only started her professional career not so long ago.
The place where the event will take place in London is the National Tennis Centre (NTC). All the matches will be held on outdoor courts. The date of the competition - 14th of July.
There will be sixteen single players split into two divisions, before competing in a round-robin and knockout stage there will also be held additional mirroring games. The whole format will look like London's ATP Finals.
The prize fund will be at least £ 30 000. There are also at least eight doubled teams that will take part in that competition. LTA fully supported the tournament and got a personal approval of Barry Fulcher, the director of the Progress Tour. It seems like London will see great tennis very soon!
