MIBR Penalize Fernando “fer” Alvarenga For Rasism

Fernando "fer" Alvarenga, like many other professional e-sports players, has a channel on Twitch, where he is regularly streaming his gaming process and making different podcasts.

He probably thought that he might do anything he wanted on his Twitch channel, but his team decided the other way. The MIBR fined the star player after he was making a few racist commentaries during a few of his broadcasts.

More About Racist Commentaries

Those commentaries that Fernando made in the past few weeks on his Twitch account during a regular stream and a few podcasts were insane! That is the main reason why the MIBR decided to penalize him.

When one of his viewers commented about the hair of a player, "fer" began to use local Brazilian jargonizes, which usually used to describe black people strangely and disgustingly.

The exact amount of the penalty for Fernando "fer" Alvarenga wasn't revealed, but as the whole CS: GO member community already may know, all of that money will be donated to organizations that fight against the racism all over the world.

The MIBR Reaction

Fernando's team responded to this incident pretty quickly when it became more and more popular on Reddit. The official statement of the MIBR released on the Twitter account of an organization just a few hours after the first Reddit treads.

"Fernando "fer" Alvarenga, one of our players, made a mistake," said the official Twitter of an organization. "He was wrong and terribly sorry for his behavior. His comment during the stream didn't reflect our or his values," ended they.
