ESL One Thailand Will Be Held In August
ESL, the tournament organizer from the Asia continent, organized a new Dota 2 tournament. The following announcement appeared earlier this week on the official social media of the ESL organization. This championship will take place in Southeast Asian countries, and only Asian participants can get into the rooster.

ESL will collaborate with the Sports Authority of Thailand and the Ministry of Sport & Tourism regarding the upcoming event. That organization will help to create a safe environment for the players and fanbase.
Those teams that will be the participants of the ESL Thailand will fight for the total prize pool of $ 200 000. The event will be separated into two main parts: Asian and American. It will be held from the 8th of August till the 6th of September.

According to the official statement of the ESL's senior VP product, Ulrich Schulze, who spoke on the event during the press release: "It's a great pleasure for us to gather together the best players of the Dota 2 community. We hope that this competition will pave the way for a lot more live events in Thailand."
"While event online hosting, we crossing the borders between different countries and continents," continues Ulrich Schulze. "We are really proud to be in collaboration with the Sport and Tourism ministry. We also hope that soon Thailand will provide local teams to join the future championships."
