Tom Brady: "Stop the Police Immunity"

Along with more than 1 400 other members of the American biggest league, NFL, Tom Brady, one of the superstar quarterbacks, winner of the Super Bowl, signed the open letter to the US Congress with calls to end the immunity of the police.

That letter combined and sent as many cities across the whole United States, faced a big wave of protests, connected with the death of George Floyd during his arrest. The main reason for the death, according to the public opinion, is asphyxia, which may not be totally true due to autopsy session results.

More than 1 400 different members of the National Football League signed that letter. For now, it's one of the most massive letters of that kind that created in the United States on the occasion of Floyd's death.

Among the other big football stars who signed that letter are also two NBA championship players Gregg Popovich (from the San Antonio), Steve Kerr (theGolden State), and the slugger of the New York Yankees Giancarlo Stanton.

"We took part in a lot of different 'listening sessions.' We speak a lot about if our country faced a problem of police violence. And we decided that it did," said the football player in his statement.

"We should do something about that before it's too late. Times when the question of the police unchecked authority was debatable now over. We should take action now," ended he.
